An Unforgettable STEM Experience: Bamfield Marine Science Centre
It was an unforgettable STEM adventure for 42 of our junior high Dinos this past week - thanks to their hard work and community support that sent them on an educational journey to the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre. This trip wasn't just a break from the usual classroom setting; it was a deep dive into the marine ecosystems that shape our world.
From First Flights to Ocean Insights
The journey began with excitement in the air—literally. For many, it was their first time flying, followed by bus rides that led them to Bamfield, where anticipation turned into discovery.
Hands-On Learning
At Bamfield, students didn't just learn about the ocean; they experienced it. They worked in labs, explored the shoreline, ventured into the ocean, and trekked through the rainforest, creating memories and gaining insights that will last a lifetime.
